Chabad of Southern Minnesota's first priority is to ensure the community feels safe to be able to gather together always.
You can donate to the Chabad Security Fund to further upgrade and maintain facility security, security system, security measures for the region, and to bolster prideful local and regional Jewish activity and infrastructure.
Security costs include security posting at events and programs, surveillance, and cutting edge training and maintenance.
Chabad of Southern Minnesota is in close and direct contact with the Rochester Police Department, Olmsted County Sheriff's Office and other regional law enforcement bureaus to ensure a safe and secure environment during services, community events and programs.
Chabad Staff visit monthly, and during any high risk times, with international and regional Jewish advocacy agencies including the COSEM - Chabad Office of Security & Emergency Management and Jewish Communities Relations Council of Minnesota and the Dakotas, to stay updated regarding any potential threats and hate crimes.
